I shop at Home Depot 99% of the time as a professional. I own some properties and needed a particular washer and dryer for a couple of them. Home Depot had a lead time of 3 to 4 weeks, Lowes was quoting one week, max. So naturally I gave Lowes a chance, how bad could it be- its an appliance, right? Well as luck would have it we had the appliance delivered the week before Thanksgiving and had not really had a chance to use it until after New Years, and the hot valve on one of the units was not working. Chiquita and the appliance team were gracious enough to schedule an in-home replacement after almost 2 months had gone by. The unit that they delivered works great, and they even took care of the hook ups and taking away the defective device. This was two months, almost 3 months after the date of purchase. They were very understanding about the holidays. Based on this customer service I give them five stars and more of my business in the future.
Employees were awesome. Was walked to what I needed with no problem and even bought two. Store was super clean as well.

The guys working the Christmas tree lot at the LB Towne Ctr we're very rude, didn't even acknowledge us as we walked past them, kept laughing about something on their phone. So we went to the store in Los Altos on Spring and had a great experience. The guys were all working and helping customers with smiles. Will definitely go back to the Los Altos Lowe's from now on.And for those complaining about the Veterans discount. It's really easy to go online and register. My dad did and he just gives them his phone number at the register and discount comes off. If ya need help signing up, just ask. The associates here helped my dad register on his phone.
