I had the shittiest experience here ever! The Wi-Fi was always down, and the teachers always chats with the smarter students, neglecting the fact that their students need help. I would not recommend sending your kids here, the teachers and many students are incompetent.
I graduated in 2011 (CLASS OF ACES). When I attended, I noticed that when you have a great leadership team working in the offices and classrooms with one common core goal, you end up with a bunch of successful students. Granted, there were a few students who still struggled academically, socially, and mentally (me being one of them) but there was still hope and support given. Cabrillo High School is a great school because of the support system, and staff involvement. I now notice that there are more curricular activities and student participation from when I was there. The school is moving in the right direction. Six years later and I couldn't be more proud. GO JAGUARS!
Honestly don't know when the rumors that Cabrillo is a bad school started. The community is amazing, I feel safe, the teachers are great and the campus is beautiful. Students also have the ability to become an individual. Best school in the district.
