I Thank the men and women of Performance for all the many years of superb service! All my cycling, mountain biking needs over the past decade were met. Sad to see it go and disappear but, I wish the guys and ladies that work there and they have an excellent future and continuous employment opportunities. Godspeed to them and we're going to miss Performance providing great service.
They are liquidating inventory. Better get on it...
Again I knew this corporate store would not last long. And I knew that Performance Bike was doomed. I've written previous reviews on employees bad attitudes , mechanics bad attitudes they're bad purchasing policies . And still they announce their closing and their sales are no different than their normal sales when they're open so they're trying to gouges right from the beginning to the end. They're only giving $100 off on a bike that cost more than a thousand give me a freaking break they probably purchase $1,000 bike for like 500 or 400 bucks. And no more lifetime service that you already paid for. Not good people and let that be a lesson to all corporate stores we don't have a chance in the bicycle business. Like Trek their next. I wish somebody figure out a way to close Shimano down their their pricing is ridiculous coming from China give me a break. If you look at my old reviews you could see where I warn people not to do business there they're terrible. Their merchandise should be 50% off and they should be lucky to even sell it. I told them I would pay the list price on a $1,100 bike if I could get 20% off my bags and racks for touring they said no screw them. I even explain to him how everything was stolen that I had touring they could care less. Good riddance goodbye and welcome Mom and Pop bicycle shops.
Performance has been a great resource for as long as I can remember. They have been my go-to store for everyday components And clothing, and I have bought several bikes from them. Sad to ser them leaving.
I'm going to miss you guys. I've been dealing with you since the begining.
