Their selection is ok and pricing depends on the quality you like and size of the furniture you are looking for.I highly dislike the sales person lady that followed us throughout the entire store and never once seemed to care about customer service. She followed us like a vulture and even after we left the store she followed us to still bother my wife and I.It is because of this behavior that we will not be buying anything from this place.
I give 5 stars because they have a very wonderful, knowledgeable, respectful, helpful person working the floor... Mitzi. I was fortunate enough to have met her. She was fantastic. If you visit, tell her I recommended her to you. I experienced 3 other sales people there - they were less than stellar.
Mohamed (Spanish speaker) helped me with my bed and dining room table set purchases. One was in person and the other was entirely over the phone. He was professional, never tried to push anything on me, and worked hard to ensure I get the items on time despite short deadlines. First class service and professionalism. I will be returning (for the same associate) in the future. Thank you.
I recently moved into a new townhome and decided to purchase my furniture with Ashleys. I can not begin to express how frustrating of an experience this has been. I have spent over 10 thousand dollars on furniture for my new home and all I have to show for it nearly two months later is two twin beds! Two of my three orders orders have been back ordered. Although waiting for merchandise longer than anticipated sucks, its even worst when the delay comes with horrible customer service. What bothers me the most about this company is that the sales representatives are like thirsty hounds as soon as you step foot in the store. They are constantly on your heels trying to make a sale, but once they have your money and have solidified their commission you have to practically perform magic to get a representative on the phone to get a follow up on your order. I placed two orders in the Long Beach, Ca store and one in the Hawthorne, Ca store and both stores have been very unprofessional in regards to explaining to me why my items continue to get delayed without notification and I continue to receive misinformation. Ive also experienced a total of four dropped calls within the last few days of calling. The first time it happened I called and questioned the representative about it and was informed that the staff was really busy (which was a poor justification for hanging up on a customer), the next three times I knew it was intentional. On one occasion I called and asked to speak directly with a supervisor. I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes and then connected with a supervisor who found my issue minuscule and transferred me back to a representative. I do not recommend spending money with this company and I will make sure I never do business with them again, ever!
My wife and I had a great experience. Mr. Mohamed Othman was very patient, helpful, and kind answering all our questions choosing and purchasing furniture for our apartment. He helped make a potentially stressful experience into a fun and informative one. We feel confident in our choices and will definitely be back to Ashleys Furniture Store in the future.
