First time here after several recommendations. Service was awesome and the food excellent. I got the Breakfast Enchiladas with chorizo and my wife got the French toast with scrambled eggs and link sausage.

Our favorite local breakfast spot. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh, the menu has loads of options & there is plenty of seating. Suggest you go early because it gets crowded & make sure to bring cash (yes, cash only). Im giving 4/5 because its named after a coffee cup & there are so many good, local coffee places in Long Beach. Come for the food & service but not the coffee (if youre a specialty coffee person).
My family and I have been patrons of Coffee Cup Cafe for just over 9 years. The restaurant has gone through several evolutions in service style and atmosphere during that time, but the menu and food quality have remained consistent after all these years.The service at Coffee Cup Cafe today was prompt and to the point - there was very little chit chat from the hostess or servers (though I was glad to see smiles all around). The food was tasty (the raspberry syrup is my favorite for the French toast) and everything came out of the kitchen quickly. And, as I'd hope from an establishment named Coffee Cup Cafe, not a beat was missed on coffee service.It's a clean little shop - only open for breakfast and lunch (7am-2pm). Bring cash or use their ATM, it is cash only. Family friendly environment, and a great spot to catch up with friends. I would always recommend calling ahead to ask about wait times prior to arriving.I do hope to see the chipped dishes replaced soon - the art on rotation is wonderful to see, but the effect is dulled when the attention to detail is lost on the flatware/utensils.
Great service delightful menu. Opens at seven. If you aren't here by 8 wait in line. Coffee is great. Come and enjoy! You will want to share it with your family and friends
