The National rental counter is in trailers in the lot close to the terminal. That's despite their own signs, and email communications that say something different (go to booth in the lot). This location has a limited selection of vehicles, and lesser customer service than other National locations I've used frequently.

I wish they had the regular Emerald Isle feature of picking out your car. However the service is good and fast anyways.

I rented at this location on 7/14/2018 around 9:20 pm When I walked thru the door there was no customers in your office. The agent who was working at the counter was on his cell phone. I had to wait until he was done, before he helped me. The service I received from your agent was very poor. I felt rushed by your agent that he wanted to get me out of the office so he can go back on his phone, which is exactly what he did. I had reserved a mid size suv and the agent asked me if I was ok with the car class I reserved. I asked the agent what cars did they have in the Executive Aisle since I am an Executive Elite member. He replied we don't have an Executive Aisle since we are a small branch, but I can give you a standard size suv. I went ahead and took it. Being an Executive Elite they normally will give you a 4 car class upgrade from what you reserved but not here. I walked out to get the car and right by the national booth outside their was an Executive Aisle, I was lied to by your agent. I did take pictures of the Executive Aisle sign. I was tired from a long flight to go back into the office. Another problem I encountered was the return time. They pre charge your veichle, which I am aware since it has happen to me before in other branches. If you reserve the car for 9pm they will authorize the payment early, in my case 8:01pm but the gentleman who helped me never adjusted the time when I actually picked it up. The other branches always adjust the time when you pick up the car. When I checked my national app after I picked up the car the time was never adjusted it shows 8:01pm,which I do have the screenshot. Instead of the time I actually picked up the car which was around 9:20pm, when my plane landed at 9pm. I needed the car til 9pm now I have to make sure I return the car by 8pm, so I won't be charge an additional hour. I am disappointed with the customer service I received at this location. Being a loyal Executive Elite member for two years in a row I would expect better customer service.
